At our clinic, our veterinarians offer a wide range of surgical services, covering both routine and complex procedures. To ensure optimal outcomes for our patients, we may refer cases to specialists (board-certified veterinary surgeons) when their expertise and advanced equipment are necessary.

Our veterinary team takes every precaution to guarantee your pet's safety during anesthesia, which is tailored to their specific needs. Prior to surgery, we conduct a thorough physical examination and perform pre-anesthetic tests. During the procedure, we closely monitor your pet, providing pain management throughout their recovery process.

  • Spaying – Females

Spaying your pet prevents female animals from becoming pregnant and can enhance their overall health and longevity.

By having your female pet spayed, you protect her from potentially life-threatening diseases such as bacterial infections, reproductive system disorders, and various cancers. Additionally, spaying eliminates the inconvenience of heat cycles and does not alter her personality.

On the day of her surgery, your pet will arrive early in the morning, with the procedure scheduled for later that day. She will remain with us throughout the day for monitoring and recovery. A pick-up time will be arranged later, allowing us to review post-operative care instructions and address any questions you may have.

  • Neutering – Males

Neutering prevents male pets from breeding and contributes to a longer, healthier life.

Neutering significantly lowers the risk of prostate and testicular cancers and sexually transmitted infections. It also diminishes undesirable behaviors such as roaming, fighting, humping, and spraying, while helping to manage the overpopulation of dogs and cats, keeping more animals out of shelters. While neutering may help reduce a dog’s desire to roam and establish territorial behaviors, it will not change his personality.

On the day of his surgery, your pet will check in first thing in the morning, with the procedure scheduled for later in the morning. He will stay with us for most of the day to ensure he is properly monitored and recovers well. We will schedule a pick-up time later to discuss homecare instructions with you and answer any questions you may have.

  • Soft Tissue Surgeries

Soft tissue surgeries focus on areas not related to bone. One of the most common procedures we perform is the removal of lumps or masses. While many of these lumps are benign (non-cancerous), some may require further investigation. Early removal and accurate diagnosis can significantly improve outcomes if a lump is found to be cancerous. This highlights the importance of regular veterinary visits, as we can identify and address these concerns promptly.

Surgery can also resolve various eye-related conditions, including chronic infections or entropion, where eyelashes irritate the cornea. Surgical intervention can enhance your pet’s comfort, minimize the risk of corneal scarring, and improve their long-term vision.
