Megan
RVT and Manager
Megan joined the Grey Cove team in August 2024 and is a proud Oulton College graduate (class of 2014). With a special passion for emergency medicine and rehab, Megan is dedicated to delivering the best experience for both patients and their owners. When not at work, Megan can be found riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. She is also a big fan of Mario games and has a Princess Peach and Yoshi tattoo!

Share a memorable story about a pet you’ve treated.
I have so many memorable moments but this one night shift a small dog came in on emergency that had been attacked by a much larger dog, it had a traumatic chest wound and we were able to save her and she was 14 and a survivor! So proud to have been able to help her.

If you could communicate with animals, what's the first thing you'd ask them?
Do you understand us when we talk to you?” It would be fascinating to know how much of our words and emotions they truly comprehend!

What's the most unusual pet you've ever cared for?
A Marmoset Monkey! Caring for such a unique and fascinating animal was an unforgettable experience.

What advancements in veterinary medicine are you most excited about?
I’m proud of all the ways we are able to treat and diagnose animals. I love that we are able offer treatments and preventatives for diseases that were never able to be treated before leading to saving more animals and a lot less euthanasia. I also love all the education we are able to share with clients to provide a better care and service to both patients and clients.

How do you stay updated with the latest developments in veterinary care?
I’m passionate about continuous learning and regularly attend conferences and take advanced courses. These opportunities allow me to expand my skills and stay at the forefront of veterinary medicine, ensuring the best care for every patient.
