Questions

  • What is your favourite animal and why?

The carabao holds a special place in my heart. Growing up on a farm in the Philippines, my grandparents owned these gentle giants to help work the fields. I have fond memories of herding them, riding on their backs as they plowed the rice fields, and—my absolute favorite part—bathing them in the cool pond after a hard day’s work. The bond I formed with these hardworking and loyal animals is a cherished part of my childhood, and I can’t imagine those early years without them.

  • What inspired you to work in this industry?

My passion for animals has been with me since I was young. The thought of animals suffering without us understanding why or how to help them deeply motivated me to learn more about their care. I believe that working as a veterinary assistant is a meaningful first step toward making a real difference in their lives and helping them live the happy, healthy lives they deserve.

Don’t forget about your pet’s dental care! Just like humans, pets can suffer from gum disease, tooth loss, and toothaches. Regular brushing and professional cleanings are essential to keep their teeth strong, healthy, and pain-free. A healthy smile leads to a happier pet!
